ATTENDANCE POLICY:

Attendance and participation in therapy along with compliance with any associated home programs, are essential for therapeutic success.

While Sensory Hangar, PLLC / Traci Svee understands that illnesses and emergencies occur, we respectfully request that you avoid frequent cancellations or “no shows”.  Please adhere to our following policy regarding providing our office with advance notification for any cancellations resulting from a conflicting appointment, vacation, obligations for work or family, or any other event. 

A calendar invite for your appointment will be sent. All cancellations must be submitted 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment via a phone call or email. If there is an unexpected illness or emergency, please call as soon as you can. Makeup appointments can be scheduled on the shared calendar, subject to availability. Please provide at least 48 hours notice when booking your makeup session. We will make every attempt to accommodate your request.

  • A fee of $75 may be assessed if the following occurs. This fee will be billed directly to the client.

    • If cancellations are made less than the required 48 hours. (unexpected illness or emergency doesn’t apply)

    • If the client fails to show up for a scheduled appointment.

  • Fee is waived if a makeup session is booked within a week of the missed appointment

  • If you reschedule / are more than 15 minutes late for 5 scheduled appointments within a 90 day time period, the office will reserve the right to discharge the client.  Additionally, if you arrive late for a scheduled appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time or may be canceled.

  • If you fail to appear for an appointment (no show) without providing the appropriate advance notification for 3 or more appointments within a 6 month time period, the office will reserve the right to cancel all pending appointments and to no longer offer services to you as a client. 

  • We waive the cancellation fee in the event of an unexpected illness or a verifiable emergency. However, if you cancel two or more consecutive appointments due to illness, a written medical excuse (doctor’s note) may be requested to confirm the need for the absences.
