Evaluations

  • Evaluations typically take 2-4 hours to  complete, and may be conducted across multiple sessions, depending on the child’s level of participation and tolerance.

OT Treatment Sessions

  • Each session consists of 45–50 minutes of individualized, one-to-one therapy with the child, followed by a 15-minute consultation with the parent or caregiver.

  • $200/session. Payment due at the time of service.

    We offer a 5% savings when you invest in our 12-session therapy package. Full payment for the package is required at the time of purchase to secure the discounted rate.

Consultation/Collaboration

  • Each session concludes with a 15-minute parent or caregiver consultation designed to deepen your understanding of your child’s unique sensory profile and needs. These consultations provide an opportunity to reframe behaviors, collaborate on strategies, and problem-solve real situations that are most meaningful to your family.

  • Price is included in the treatment session cost.

    If a parent is unable to attend a session, we can arrange a separate consultation on a case-by-case basis. The therapist will work to ensure that all important information is communicated to you.

Guided Sensory Exploration Sessions

Sensory Hangar OT is now offering private, supervised Guided Sensory Exploration sessions. This is more than just an open gym—it is an opportunity for you and your child to explore our specialized sensory environment with the expert guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

How It Works

  • Who: For children with sensory processing differences and their caregivers.

  • What: 50 minutes of private gym access + 10 minutes of clinical insight/Q&A.

  • Where: The Sensory Hangar OT Gym.

The Sensory Discovery Package

This package is designed to bridge the gap between "something feels off" and "now I have a plan."

For the price of a nice dinner out, parents get:

  1. Expert Observation: A licensed OTR/L watching their child play in a specialized environment.

  2. Parent Empowerment: Validated questionnaires that help them put words to their concerns.

  3. Actionable Strategy: A 1-on-1 virtual meeting and a customized "Home Success" sheet.

What’s Included ($140):

  • Session 1: In-Person Discovery (45 min). You and your child visit the Sensory Hangar. While they explore the swings and crash pads, I observe their sensory processing, motor planning, and regulation in real-time.

  • Deep-Dive Questionnaires: I’ll provide you with specialized forms to help us identify your child's specific sensory profile. A “mini” assessment.

  • Session 2: Virtual Strategy Session (30 min). We’ll meet online to discuss my observations and your goals.

  • The Takeaway: You’ll receive a Customized One-Page Summary featuring top recommendations and "Sensory Tips" tailored specifically for your home and school life.


Sensory Hangar is an out-of-network/fee-for-service provider, which means that we do not bill insurance companies for services. We can provide a complimentary “Superbill”  upon request, which is a detailed, itemized invoice and receipt that you can submit to your insurance for a possible partial reimbursement. You can contact your insurance company to determine if you have out-of-network benefits and the process for submitting claims. 

Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that your insurance will reimburse for services, and therefore, reimbursement should not be considered a financial necessity to participate in services at Sensory Hangar OT. However, most clients we treat do receive partial reimbursement for our services.
