Empowering Children Through Sensory Integration
Our Approach
Serving northeast greater Seattle area, Sensory Hangar OT provides compassionate, play-based occupational therapy that celebrates each child's unique strengths while supporting their growth using Ayers Sensory Integration® Theory and relationship based approaches.
Occupational therapy (OT) supports individuals in fully engaging in the activities of daily life. For children, this means building the skills needed for play, learning, growth, independence, and family life. Occupational therapists work closely with children and their families to address areas such as motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, self-regulation, social emotional skills, and executive functioning. OTs support development by using meaningful activities, like play, as tools for growth. The goal of pediatric occupational therapy is to strengthen a child’s ability to participate in their everyday roles, increase independence, and foster confidence and self-esteem.
